Brittany Whalen
Brittany Whalen is Immaculata's head women's basketball coach, currently in her third season in 2025-26.
In 2024-25, Whalen led the Mighty Macs to a 22-4 overall record (10-0 Atlantic East). Immaculata hosted and won the Atlantic East Conference Championship, and played in the NCAA Tournament against Ohio Wesleyan.
Whalen was a four-year member of the women’s basketball and softball teams. Following graduation, she returned to her alma mater as an assistant coach from 2015-18. She would take on the head coaching role in 2023 following a career change.
Whalen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, Pre-Occupational Therapy from Immaculata in 2015. She earned an Associate of Science in Occupational Therapy Assistant from Harcum College in 2018.
Whalen currently resides in Wilmington, Del. with her husband, Dan, a former four-year Immaculata student-athlete for the Mighty Macs’ baseball team.
